My reactions to veiwing? Well lets see, I watched Crouching Tiger,Hidden Dragon first. The reason that I watched it first was becasue I thought it was the less “my style ” movie of the two. I have seen the movie before and had some negative preconseptions of it. I was able to watch the movie this time with the English Dub and there for found it easier to follow. I was frustrated throught the entire movie because I have a hard time relating to the inbread morals of those of Asian decent. They hold honor and respect in a different light the most of us. I was amazed and the producers ability to capture all the figting moves and stunts all while making it look real. I also found a great appreciation for the reflection back to the sand dunes, it was nicley done. The timeing was good in my opinion, enough of the plot was given so as not to detur from the story line.

I watched Lord of the Rings next, While watching it I remebered how long this movie really was. I love it and hate it at the same time. I love the movie for what “sequals” it brought. I hate the movie because I just sat for 3 hours and got no where except to the end of the chapter of a book but I can’t turn the page. On the subject though-the detail the imagination used, the costumes, everything was supurb. I would think this movie cost a fortune and then some. It held back nothing in my opinion. I would say though it was a long 3 hours to get no where but I guess since it peaked my interest that is why they got my money when I went and saw 2 and 3. Good way to capture future business.
